Angel joined the RJSS team 8 years ago as an apprentice and is now a licensed Master Cosmetologist who instructs apprentices herself. Angel's work has been featured in Portico, Birmingham Magazine, and B-Metro. She is an advocate for continuing education and has future plans to direct education for RJSS.

Kelsey joined the Richard Joseph team after receiving a Bachelor's degree in marketing from UAB and working in sales and dermatology. In 2011, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a stylist. Kelsey completed the apprenticeship program, gaining extensive knowledge in color, cutting, and other techniques. Her carefree spirit is inviting to guests, which encourages them to express their needs and desired looks.

Michael joins the Richard Joseph team with extensive experience in the beauty industry. Having worked with a variety of product lines, including Aveda, Schwartzkopf, Bumble and Bumble, and Keratin Complex, he can offer a dynamic perspective for the needs of your hair. Michael has a particular interest in texture services, offering everything from simple relaxers to Keratin smoothing treatments and Aveda permanent retexturizers.
Elaheh was born in Tehran and moved to the States in 1994. She joins the Richard Joseph team as the top student of her class from Tim Mitchell College of Cosmetology for her work in cutting, coloring and chemical services. As a teenager in Persia, she learned threading techniques and has mastered facial threading after many years. Having worked sixteen years in accounting for Virginia College, as well as assisting the student loans department, she has vast experience in customer service.
Elaheh provides excellent attention to detail, and her top priority is the happiness of every guest who sits in her chair. Her extensive product knowledge helps ensure that every guest leaves with a smile on their face. Elaheh continues educating herself on the latest trends and techniques by attending advanced cut and color classes. She is constantly observing and finds inspiration from her peers at Richard Joseph. For Elaheh, every experience is a learning one.

Susan began as a barber stylist in the 90's and joined the RJSS team in 2000 where she began her apprenticeship. Now licensed as a Master Cosmetologist with over 25 years of experience in the industry, Susan finds her specialty to be manicures and pedicures. Susan has continued her education by attending Aveda reflexology & aromaology classes. She promotes reflexology as a stress-relief method for the entire body and encourages reflexology treatments for her guests every 2-4 weeks. Future education endeavors for Susan include craniosacral therapy and continuing education for reflexology and aromaology. In her spare time, Susan practices yoga to keep in touch with her body.

Amy developed her passion for massage therapy at a young age. As a child, she would go to bookstores with her mom and search through massage books to learn new techniques. Afterwards, she would find people to practice her new skills on. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in social work and working in the field for 8 years, she returned to massage therapy. Amy graduated in 2000 from Red Mountain Institute for the Healing Arts and began working for RJSS in 2011. Amy recently became certified as a Manual Lymph Node Drainage Therapist. Amy's mission statement is "Don't put a band aid on it-fix it."
Expertise: Therapeutic massage, craniosacral therapy, and techniques that ceases the pattern of pain.

Though originally from Birmingham, Ashley followed her thirst for life, which lead her to live in California, Nevada and Utah. She returned home to attend the Aveda Institute for esthetics and because "There's no place like home." She loves skin care and is dedicated to helping others experience their own beauty inside and out. Her playful and loving energy is comforting and relaxing to guests, creating the path for maximum results.

Joyce is a native of Birmingham, AL and grew up in Mountain Brook where she attended Mountain Brook city schools. She graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. From 1980-1988, Joyce worked for Parisian Department Store as an executive assistant, assistant buyer, and advertising merchandise coordinator. She taught elementary school in Birmingham and Jackson, MS from 1988-2005 and was the education coordinator at the Foundry Rescue Mission until 2009. Joyce came to RJSS as a member of the guest services team in 2009.
Expertise: Coordinating client services with service providers to provide maximum experience in the spa.

Kaylyn grew up learning about the beauty industry from her mom, a master cosmetologist and beauty fanatic. She has been employed in the salon/spa industry for over 6 years and joined the RJSS team in 2011 in search of a workplace that values holistic living. Currently, Kaylyn is attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she is in the University Honors Program and working towards a double major of English literature and public relations. In her spare time, Kaylyn enjoys power yoga, herbology, Photoshop, holistic living, and her lion-shaved cat, Leo.
